How far in advance should I book?
Weekend and holiday dates can book out several weeks in advance—especially during peak seasons. Weekdays typically have more flexibility. If you have specific dates in mind, we recommend submitting your request as early as possible so we can hold a spot for you.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Your safety comes first. If the captain determines that conditions are unsafe (lightning, high winds, rough seas), we’ll work with you to reschedule your trip or refund your deposit in line with our weather policy. Light rain usually doesn’t cancel a trip, but we always make the final call based on safety and comfort.
Do I need a fishing license?
In most cases, yes—Texas law requires anglers 17 and older to have a valid fishing license with a saltwater endorsement. In your confirmation email we’ll include a direct link and simple instructions on where and how to purchase the correct license before your trip.
Can kids come on the charter?
Absolutely. We love taking families and first-time anglers. Please let us know the ages of any kids in your group when you request your date so we can have the right life jackets and plan a trip length that works well for them.
What is your cancellation policy?
Because we reserve the boat and captain for your group, cancellations within a certain window may forfeit the deposit. Weather-related cancellations made by the captain are handled differently. We’ll share the current cancellation policy with your quote so there are no surprises.
